Meet Joshua "Crisco Kidd" Carmona
New Leadership and a New Energy, for ALL of Phoenix
Since arriving to Phoenix in 2016, Josh Carmona, or better known as Crisco Kidd, is proud to call Phoenix home. Having been an influential voice, tastemaker and award-winning radio personality in Houston, Albuquerque, Dallas, and So-Cal for 21 years, his well-respected brand is currently on Power 98.3 & 96.1 weekday afternoons and weekends on SiriusXM's Pitbull's Globalization. Crisco has also earned his real estate license and is a member of the Phoenix Associate of Realtors and has helped people from all over the Valley find their dream homes for three years. In addition to radio and real estate, Josh is also co-owner of Famous Churros located in historic and up and coming Sunnyslope.
In his time here in Phoenix, Crisco has hosted community events, fundraisers, school functions and is proud to invest his time, money, and heart into local charities and neighborhoods. "I truly believe that when you strengthen the people of our communities, you strengthen the city! I've always stood by this and it will be something I pass along to my son, Phoenix." This past December marked the 10th annual Crisco Kidd's Ton of Toys Drive, where he lives outside of a Walmart until the 2,000 lbs of toys goal has been met. Children and families at UMOM New Day Centers have had a better Christmas/Holiday season for the past four years. On Thanksgiving mornings, he has happily been a part of the Food City Thanksgiving providing the community of South Phoenix, complimentary breakfast. His community service record spans back since scouting and in April 26, 2009, he was awarded Crisco Kidd's Community Care Day by the city of Houston for his contributions. He graduated from the University of Houston with a double concentration in PR/Advertising and Business from the C.T. Bauer College of Business and is also a proud member of the Regular Grand Lodge of Texas.
